ABOUT US SCHOOLS ARTISTS STUDENTS RESOURCES SUPPORT US

Since 1979, over 3.5 million children in New York City’s public schools have participated in ArtsConnection’s programs, and we continue to grow and expand to reach thousands more each year. The arts are not an extra but are essential to the education of all young people. Our schools need dedicated, professional teaching artists to teach music, dance, theater and visual arts to make the classroom a meaningful and exciting place.

This year, ArtsConnection will bring the arts to 50,000 young people, from pre-kindergarten through high school, in over 100 schools citywide. Children will learn in all arts disciplines how to express themselves and focus on their work. Teens will see and critique professional performances and exhibitions through our Tickets to the Arts and Teen Reviewers and Critics programs.

Through our 34 years of experience, we know that arts instruction can change the life of a child. Please consider becoming an ArtsConnection supporter today to ensure that our work continues to inspire and enhance students' lives.
