PS 130 Fifth Graders Shine at the Annual Puppet Parade!

PS 130 recently celebrated its sixth annual Puppet Parade. Each year, the entire fifth grade participates in this very special event, which is a culmination of their school-wide sequential puppetry curriculum, developed by ArtsConnection. This year's Puppet Parade explored Slavery and Freedom, a theme that aligns with the fifth grade social studies curriculum. The Puppet Parade was accompanied by the school's Core 5 Young Talent Percussion ensemble. Check out the ArtsConnection Facebook page for photos of this wonderful event!
