Artswire
A program of the New York Foundation for the Arts, Artswire is a national, online network for artists, arts organizations, and communities. Artswire provides online forums in a variety of topics, weekly news in the arts, listings of grants and jobs in the arts, a continuously updated index of arts-related sites, and technology assistance.

AskERIC
The ERIC database is the world’s largest source of educationally-related resources. The database encompasses all the resources of the Educational Resources Information Center(ERIC), a federally-funded information system. Questions about anything from special education to curriculum development can also be submitted to ERIC’s Q&A.

Center for Arts Education
The Center for Arts Education is an independent, not-for-profit organization committed to restoring and sustaining arts education as an essential part of every child’s education in the NYC public schools. The Center identifies, funds, and supports exemplary partnerships and programs that demonstrate how the arts contribute to learning and student achievement.

Empire State Partnerships (ESP)
ESP unites the New York State Council on the Arts and the NY State Education Department in an effort to increase student achievement of New York State’s Learning Standards by strengthening teaching and learning in all disciplines, and integrating the use of arts and cultural resources into educational practice across the curriculum.

NYC Kids Arts Online
A project of the Alliance for the Arts, this site is a great resource for information about arts and arts education programming in New York City for parents, teachers, and kids, including the ever-popular Kids Culture Catalog and the Kids Culture Calendar.

New York City Board of Education
The site includes current news and listings of all districts and schools.

New York City Department of Cultural Affairs
The goal of the Department is to promote the cultural life of New York City and to articulate the contributions made by the cultural community to the City’s economy.

New York Foundation for the Arts
NYFA is a nonprofit service organization and one of the largest providers of grants and services to individual artists and arts-related organization in all artistic disciplines in the United States.
