ABOUT US SCHOOLS ARTISTS STUDENTS FORUM SUPPORT US

STUDENT ART PROGRAM (SAP)

ArtsConnection’s Student Art Program (SAP) connects young artists from NYC public schools with corporate partners through exhibitions of student artwork. SAP transforms art from a subject studied at school into a professional endeavor.

We identify a theme for an exhibition and send out a call to art teachers in middle and high schools across the city. Through our selection process, exhibitions of student artwork are curated and then installed in our corporate sponsor’s office space for one year. An opening reception honors the students, their families and teachers. Gift certificates for art supplies are awarded to each student and their teachers to support their continued artistic development. At the end of the exhibition, the framed artwork is returned to each student.
