To commemorate this milestone, ArtsConnection held its benefit on May 6, 2010 at the American Museum of Natural History's Powerhouse venue, where $550,000 was
raised to keep the arts in NYC public schools. The evening was hosted by Joy Behar of The View and featured a special performance by jazz musician Peter Cincotti. The evening honored Jonathan Klein, President, CNN U.S. The event's Janklow awardees were Principal of PS 65 in the Bronx, Tashon McKeithan, and puppetry teaching artist, Erin Orr. Honorary chair Jeffrey L. Bewkes, Chairman & CEO, Time Warner was joined by co-chairs Lisa* & Richard Plepler and Tracey & Robert* Pruzan. Read the full benefit press release.
